More than $780,000 was loaned or granted out into the region from July through September through the Northwest Minnesota Foundation.

The Dorrance H. Johnston Scholarship for Engineering, a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF), is seeking qualified applicants to apply for the scholarship now through November 30, 2023.

A new scholarship supporting female athletes has been established at Northwest Minnesota Foundation.

The Sunday Cabaret event hosted by the Bemidji Area Endowment for the Arts, a component fund of Northwest Minnesota Foundation, raised $11,800 to support the arts.

Twenty-one businesses in Mahnomen, Waubun, Richwood, East Grand Forks, and Bemidji have received a combined $1.1 million in funding to support economic revitalization in their communities.
