More than $500,000 raised in donations over the last 6 years of partnership

The Dorrance H. Johnston Scholarship for Engineering, a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF), is seeking qualified applicants to apply for the scholarship now through November 30, 2023.

A new scholarship supporting female athletes has been established at Northwest Minnesota Foundation.

A new scholarship has been established in honor of Jim Carrington, former sports editor of the Bemidji Pioneer and longtime youth baseball coach.

Theresa Gustafson, who graduated from Bemidji High School, earned the Ray F. and John F. Breen Scholarship and the John and Iva Lee Graupman Family Scholarship.

Sranya Vongsaly, who graduated from Warroad High School, earned the Frances McNeill Karlsson Arts and Gaylord A. Gunderson Education Scholarships.

tarkey, who graduated from Mahnomen High School, earned the Mahnomen Education General Scholarship.

Anya VanAntwerpen, who graduated from Bemidji High School, earned the Ray F. and John F. Breen Scholarship.
