The Northwest Minnesota Continuum of Care is now accepting applications for the 2023 annual Notice of Funding Opportunity for the CoC Program Competition.

For the better part of the last year, the Minnesota Housing Partnership has been working with a cohort of emerging housing developers to support their ideas and develop their skills to respond to affordable housing needs in Northwest Minnesota.

The Bemidji Area Arts Endowment Fund, a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, has granted out more than $23,000 to support the arts in the Bemidji area.

The Hubbard County Coalition of Lake Associations is seeking grant proposals for up to $2,000. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2024.

Ongoing talking circles help inform future planning on the homeless response system in Northwest Minnesota.

Often used to illustrate the many hands who help lift a child through their development, this phrase speaks to the need for many people to come together to provide a safe and healthy environment for children, where children are given the security they need to develop and flourish, where children’s voices matter.

Thanks to a $1,000 grant from the Bemidji 31 Education Foundation Fund, around three dozen Bemidji Middle Schools were able to learn the art of woodturning, each making their own duck call.
